CAIRO- The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday that it is closely following up the agreement that was announced on resuming diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Egypt hoped this deal would help reduce tension in the region, shore up the pillars of stability, preserve the Arab national security, and meet the aspirations of the peoples of the region in achieving prosperity, development and stability, the Foreign Ministry added.
