KYIV – Ukrainian troops have shot down two Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reported Tuesday.

According to Lysak, two Russian UAVs were destroyed by the East Air Command.

“The explosions heard by local residents were the performance of the anti-aircraft defense units,” Lysak noted.
