Nile News channel honoured broadcaster, Ashraf Abdel-Aty, who officially retired.
Amira Salem, head of television news for the channel presented Abdel-Aty with a shield with his picture in the middle.
The presentation was made in the presence of a number of the Egyptian TV personalities in appreciation of his efforts for his work at the channel.
Abdel-Aty was a role model for high-level professionalism and morals. His interviews with his guests on the programmes were characterised by depth and richness.
Ashraf Abdel-Aty was one of the first broadcasters to appear on Nile News in its early years.
