Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli lauded the effective foreign action by the political leadership, thus contributing to promoting Egypt’s position as a key partner in various Arab and regional issues.
During a government meeting on Wednesday, the premier hailed the positive outcome of Egypt’s hosting of the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian summit.
This falls within the framework of Egypt’s continued support to the Palestinian cause in various historic stages, he said.
The three leaders underlined the importance of protecting the Palestinians rights and proceeding with joint efforts to realise just, comprehensive and durable peace based on the two-state solution, the premier said.
He underlined the importance of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s participation in Abu Dhabi summit due to be held today in the UAE as well as the meeting of the leaders of Egypt, Jordan and the Gulf Co-operation Council member states.
He wised the summit would realised the aspired targets within the framework of promoting joint Arab action.
At the local level, he extolled the key outcome of President Sisi’s visit to Sohag during which he inspected several service and development projects implemented under the presidential initiative “Decent Life”.
The premier also underlined the importance of the president’s visit to the North Sinai governorate during which he followed the progress realized so far in service and development projects.
He commended the general commander of the Armed Forces, defense minister, and interior minister for the efforts and sacrifices offered by the personnel for restoring security and stability.
