CAIRO – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered integrated fishing boat production in tandem with the State’s efforts to develop natural lakes nationwide.
The move will greatly contribute to doubling the production of lakes and thus supporting the economic conditions of farmers and enhancing food security and the national economy, added President Sisi during his meeting Monday with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Local Development Minister Hisham Amna, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Osama Rabie, and Chairman of South Red Sea Shipyard (SRSS) Mostafa el Degeishy.
The meeting tackled ongoing efforts to localize fishing boat production in Egypt, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
President Sisi was briefed on the executive position regarding the local production of modern fishing boats.
President Sisi was also posted on ongoing efforts to involve the private sector in localizing modern fishing boat production along with yacht maintenance centers.
