The Egyptian Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar gave directives to accelerate finishing the health projects in Gharbiya governorate according to the determined schedules and the priorities and needs of the health system in the governorate.
This came during Abdel Ghaffar’s meeting with Gharbiya Governor Tarek Rahmi to discuss and follow up the rates of accomplishments of the health projects implemented and standing on any challenges facing the work flow in all the health units, centers and hospitals in the governorate.
Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said in a statement on Thursday that the minister was apprised of the map of the current health projects which include nine hospital projects with the cost of LE2.6 billion in addition to a project of renovating blood bank and plasma center in Tanta.
The minister was keen on checking on the networks of sanitation, water and electricity, the spokesman said, necessitating the measures of periodical maintenance for these grids.
Rahmi thanked Abdel Ghaffar for the efforts exerted to contribute to improving the health sector whether in Gharbiya or at the level of Egypt, the spokesman said, asserting the minister’s support to all the health projects and facilitating all hindrances and challenges that may face the flow of work in these projects.
