Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said on Thursday the State is going ahead with the implementation of the strategy set by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to achieve overall development and improve living standards of needy people despite challenges prompted by global crises.
Madbouli’s remarks came during a meeting with Finance Minister Mohamed Maait and Social Solidarity Minister Nevine Kabbag to follow up social protection programs in the Fiscal Year 2022/2023.
He said the State is keen on securing requirements of social protection, health and education programs, adding that allocations for social protection programs were increased during the current fiscal year.
He added that the government seeks to develop these programs to provide more protection to most vulnerable people.
Kabbag reviewed during the meeting the ministry’s plans within the coming period.
