Chairman of the Board of Directors of Presentation and Stadiums Companies, Saif Al-Waziri, revealed the manufacture of the World Cup ball in Egypt.
“The ball was manufactured in Egypt, our country, supporting our industry, that will be considered a major station for exporting the Adidas ball to the world, starting with the World Cup2022” Al-Waziri has stated.
He added that the cooperation between the united company and presentation continuously highlights progress in favor of Egyptian sports.
The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) had revealed the design of the official ball for the World Cup 2022, produced by adidas.
“Al Rihla” is the name of the ball, which is inspired by the Qatari culture and means “The journey”, representing the journey that everyone will embark on throughout the tournament.
“Al Rihla” is the 14th consecutive ball that adidas has manufactured for World Cup tournaments.
The FIFA stated that “Al Rihla” will provide the desired experience for all the participants, where it will cope with the maximum match speeds, thanks to its aerial and ground movement that is faster than any other ball in the history of the tournament.
“Al Rihla” will grant the highest levels of accuracy, stability and reliability on the field thanks to its external design.
