Egypt’s Senate Speaker Abdel Wahab Abdel Raziq has said that holding the climate change conference COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh affirmed the importance of Egypt’s leading role among world countries.
Addressing the Senate plenary session Sunday, the speaker said holding the summit in Egypt affirmed that the country started a new phase towards of mega projects in the fields of new and renewable energy expressing hope that the conference would come up with decisive decisions and recommendations to save the world from the bad effects of climate change.
He added that Egypt’s success in organizing this important event in the presence of world leaders and wide media coverage affirmed the ability of Egypt to host such important gatherings.
