CAIRO – Egyptian Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Molla discussed on Friday with Managing Director of Arabian Petroleum Supply company (APSCO) Mohamed Reda Ali means of boosting bilateral cooperation in the field of aircraft refueling.

This came out of the company’s strong interest to pump investments in this field in Egypt, first at Cairo International Airport and then other Egyptian airports.

In statements on Friday, Molla said that APSCO has more than 70 years of experience in marketing of lubricants, petroleum products, aviation fuels and marine bunkers.

The company is keen on sharing its expertise, whether in the field of aircraft catering or in the areas of digital transformation and emission reduction.

He added that Egypt has great opportunities to expand its activities in the field of aircraft refueling, particularly in light of the recovery of tourism activity inside and outside Egypt.

The two sides also discussed activities of the Saudi company in more than 40 airports, whether in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or in the Middle East and Africa regions. It is also the exclusive supplier of aviation fuel to Saudi Aramco and the strategic partner of ExxonMobil in Saudi Arabia.

They also reviewed the company’s plans in Egypt in the coming period and its plans to expand its activities globally, in cooperation with Misr Petroleum Company.
