As many as LE99 million were disbursed to about 183,355 irregular workers during September and October 2022 in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to support vulnerable families face up to increasing economic challenges, announced the Manpower Ministry.
As part of the ministry’s plan for digital transformation, Manpower Minister Hassan Shehata issued directives to hold an urgent meeting with the “specialised committee” to enhance mechanisms governing the irregular employment system at the manpower directorates electronically, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The move comes also in line with the ministry’s plan towards digital transformation, as well as efforts to register intermittent workers in the manpower ministry’s affiliated directorates on the governorates’ integrated database system incorporating all-out social, as well as health insurance services, it added.
