CAIRO – The State will never forget the families of its martyrs, affirmed Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

During the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police cadets at the Police Academy premises in New Cairo on Monday, President Sisi added that those martyrs have sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland.

“All due respect and love to the sacrifices made by the martyrs and their families for the sake of our country and people,” said President Sisi.

The sacrifices of the martyrs made more than 100 million Egyptians live in peace and security, he went on to say.

Due to the sacrifices of the martyrs, the situation in Egypt has remarkably improved despite challenges and terrorism, added the president.

“We will never forget you,” President Sisi said, directing salute to the souls of the martyrs.

President Sisi paid tribute and homage to all the police martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland.

He also saluted the families of the martyrs, saying: “All due respect and love to the sacrifices made for the sake of our homeland and people”.

The cost the martyrs’ paid for preserving the Egyptian state was their blood and souls, he also said.

The families of martyrs have paid dearly for their country as they sacrificed their sons, he went on to say.
