Bahraini Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser al-Mubarak received on Wednesday Egyptian ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Mohammed Ahmed Shaaban to discuss joint co-operation, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said.
The minister hailed the Bahraini-Egyptian relations, enhanced by their cooperation in all fields and wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic mission.
Mubarak stressed the importance of promoting co-operation between the two countries in the agricultural and municipal fields and in afforestation.
He highlighted the ministry’s efforts in afforestation and its plans for the coming years.
The meeting focused on exchanging experiences in various common topics, including fish farming and agriculture.
For his part, the Egyptian diplomat praised Bahrain’s achievements in terms of infrastructure development, as well as facilitating procedures for investors and businessmen.
He expressed his aspiration to promote co-operation with Bahrain to increase the work between the two sides.
Ambassador Shaaban praised the services provided by the ministry, wishing Bahrain all progress and advancement.
