Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has strengthened co-operation between Egypt and the African countries, affirmed the Federation of Islamic Associations of Burkina (FAIB) on Thursday.
This came in a message received by Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa from each of the secretary general of the federation of Islamic associations in western Burkina Faso and presidency member at the FAIB Abu Bakr Yiougu.
The two officials also hailed the success of the 33rd International Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, which was recently organised by Awqaf Ministry and held under the auspices of president Sisi.
They also lauded President Sisi’s key role in promoting joint co-operation between Egypt and the African countries.
Hailing Egypt’s pioneering role in the region, the two officials also referred to the wise leadership of president Sisi.
