CAIRO – Egyptian Manpower Minister Hassan Shehata will lead Egypt’s delegation to the 48th Arab Labor Conference (ALC), organized by the Arab Labor Organization (ALO), under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in Cairo on Sunday.
The minister will deliver Egypt’s speech at the conference.
The conference will review a report, presented by ALO Director General Fayez Al Mutairi. The report, entitled “the Digital Economy and Employment Issues,” focuses on the impact of “digital transformation” on many countries that have adopted it and reaped its fruits, and provides a vision of what the Arab countries could achieve in the near future as a result of applying the “digital transformation” system and tools in driving change in their economies.
It will also review a report on a memo presented by the director general of the Arab Labor Office on the 110th session of the International Labor Conference, which is scheduled from May 27 to June 11.
