CAIRO- ُEgyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir Saleh said the upcoming stage will witness a number of ministry staffers’ field visits to industrial areas to follow up on work progress and stand on challenges to industry to help figure out practical solutions for all obstacles in coordination with relevant State bodies.
During an inspection tour Sunday of Roubeki Leather City, in El Obour City, the minister affirmed the ministry’s keenness on promoting and developing all industrial establishments, with a view to maximising the added value of national industries, as well as increasing their competitiveness at local and international markets.
Saleh toured a number of tanneries, a technology center and glue factories, in addition to the area housing the 100 factories for finished products industries.
He said the State attaches great attention to the leather industry, in line with drives meant to turn Egypt into a key leather product manufacturing hub.
