This statement by Minster of Planning and Economic Development Hala el-Saeed came during her meeting with Minister of State for Military Production, Mohamed Ahmed Morsi.
El-Saeed added that her ministry would be ready to support the Ministry of Military Production in carrying out projects to serve ongoing development.
Discussions also focused on the investment plan proposed by the Ministry of Military Production for fiscal year (FY) 2021/22.
The two senior officials reviewed progress to date in projects implemented by affiliates to the Ministry of Military Production in collaboration with state bodies and the private sector as part of national development, an official statement said.
Morsi said his ministry’s subsidiaries are eager to derive the greatest benefits from their manufacturing, technical and human resources potential.
Morsi said the presidential initiative ‘Decent Life’ is a key national project and an opportunity to depend on local products and create jobs “for our people” in the countryside.
