Egypt’s State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salah el Din Mostafa has inspected Helwan Machinery and Equipment Company (999 Military Factory).
Accompanied by a host of the ministry’s leaderships and the National Authority for Military Production, the minister was briefed on the company’s activities and the partnerships it has concluded over the past period for co-operation with various authorities in the country.
The minister also got acquainted with the status of ongoing projects and the company’s plans for future projects.
Helwan Machinery and Equipment Company is considered the first company in the Middle East in producing equipment of the machines, added the minister.
The company also joins hands in implementing “Decent Life” presidential initiative through projects of sewage treatment plant, he added.
The minister further said that that company is currently co-operating with one of the UAE companies in implementing a project for manufacturing vehicles with a bi-fuel system (natural gas and gasoline).
