The Egyptian Finance Ministry urged swift payment of taxes and due fees ahead of the end of August as this is the last chance to benefit from tax facilities offered under the law of pardoning delay in payment.
In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said the government seeks to alleviate the financial burdens on the business community and boosting the financial sheet of companies in addition to ending financially strapped cases.
Tax Authority Chairman Mokhtar Tawfiq stressed that the law allows making up for delayed taxes ahead of August 31.
