NEW YORK – United Nations Secretary General António Guterres offered condolences to Egypt over the victims of Giza’s Abo Sefein Church.
In an official statement, UN Spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said Guterres expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident.
He offered condolences to the families of the victims, wishing those injured speedy recovery.
The fire took place on Sunday, leaving behind 41 people dead and 14 others injured.
