KUWAIT CITY – The Kuwaiti Diwan announced on Sunday appointing Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as new Prime Minister for Kuwait, KUNA reported.
Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad was also asked to immediately implement the order and form the new government, according to the Amiri Diwan statement.
It noted that that the order to appoint Sheikh Ahmad was issued by Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah based on the emir decree on November 25, 2021.
The crown prince asked the premier to inform the National Assembly about the order and issuing it in the official Gazette
