MAKKA EL MUKARAMA – Assistant Interior Minister for Administrative Affairs and head of Egyptian pilgrimage mission Alaa el Ahmady said lottery pilgrims, who are in rush, will start leaving the tent city of Mina for Mecca early Monday after they end the symbolic ‘stoning of the devil’ ritual.
In statements to MENA, Ahmady said on Sunday that pilgrims, who are not in rush, will leave Mina as of Tuesday.
The operations rooms received no reports so far about any missing pilgrims, he said.
