The National Alliance for Civil Development Work launched the largest campaign to distribute Eid Al-Adha meat at a total cost of LE500 million.
Alliance members went on inspection tours for purposes of quality control and to conduct veterinary examinations.
Also, the alliance announced the launch of a series of social initiatives nationwide, coinciding with the celebrations of the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution and Eid al-Adha festival.
The initiatives include food hampers, garments and gifts for brides-to-be costing a total LE625 million from June 30 until mid-July.
The initiatives are intended to alleviate the financial burdens of deprived families during the festive season.
The alliance was launched on 13 March 2022 with members from 24 associations that include major civil and development institutions, and service and development entities in Egypt.
In implementation of directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Decent Life Foundation has made available 60,000 food hampers for distribution to severely deprived families in rural areas in Alexandria, Beheira, Dalahliya, Fayyoum, Gharbia, Giza, Luxor, Menoufiya, Qalioubiya and Sharkia.
This falls within the Wasl Al-Khair 2 initiative launched by the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, of which the Decent Life Foundation is a member.
