Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit expressed deep concerns over the latest developments on the Sudanese-Ethiopian borders which left behind seven Sudanese soldiers and one citizen kills.
He offered condolences to the Sudanese Armed Forces and the families of the victims.
In a statement on Wednesday, AL Spokesman Gamal Roshdi said the AL condemned the killing of Sudanese Armed Forces personnel.
Abul Gheit renewed call for exercising self-restraint and reducing tension.
He underlined the importance of respecting the Sudan’s sovereignty on all its lands in order to restore good neighbourhood relations between the two countries.
