The cabinet media center said the Egyptian state promoted its position to be one of the best tourism destinations on the international map.
This came in light of Egypt’s plans and strategies to enhance competitiveness in the tourism sector and propagate for its cultural, historical and civilization heritage.
The cabinet published this in a video as part of a series aiming at highlighting Egypt’s tourism potentials.
The video noted that Egypt ranked among the best 10 world tourism destinations in 2022 under CNN Travel and ranked the first at the African level and 51st internationally on the Travel & Tourism Development Index 2021.
Egypt also ranked the second-best diving world destination in 2021, according to the British Dive Magazine.
In statements in the video, Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Manar said Egypt has adopted all preventive measures in all airports in coordination with the ministries concerned to ensure the safety of tourists.
He noted that the Airports Council International (ACI) renewed accreditation of nine Egyptian airports.
The video also showed tourists’ opinion in Egypt’s tourist sites and airports.
The tourists hailed the unique and diversified tourist potentials in Egypt as well as safety in the country.
They stressed that Egypt is one of the best tourist sites in the world that deserve to be visited.
