LONDON – As many as 43 cases of the rare monkeypox virus, normally found in Africa, have been confirmed in the UK, bringing the total to 366, BBC reported.
Health officials say anyone can get monkeypox, particularly if they’ve had close contact with someone with symptoms.
The UK Health Security Agency said according to MENA that there are currently 348 confirmed cases of monkeypox in England, 12 in Scotland, four in Wales and two in Northern Ireland.
