CAIRO – The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said on Monday that the volume of French investments in Egypt hit 349 million dollars in the 2019-20 fiscal year, up from 296 million dollars in the previous fiscal year.

 

In a press release, it added that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to 2.2 billion dollars in 2020 compared to 2.4 billion dollars in 2019.

 

Egypt’s exports to France hit 530.5 million dollars, while its imports from the European country registered 1.7 billion dollars in 2020, it pointed out.
