CAIRO – The 8th Africa Helices Championship kicked off here and is set to run until May 15.
The Egyptian Shooting Club, 6th of October branch, is hosting the games of the 2022 championship.
The tournament opened with the President’s Cup competition.
As many as 250 shooters from nine countries are taking part in the championship.
The Grand Prix competition will be held on May 14 and 15, and will be followed by the main competition of Africa Championship and the Nation’s Cup.
This tournament serves as qualifier to the World Helices Championship.
Egypt has already organized seven Africa helices championships over the past years in addition to two world tournaments that were commended by all the participating shooters.
