Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted the importance of co-operation with UAE companies, given the fact international companies are very interested in investing in green energy production in Egypt.
Madbouli’s remarks were made while attending on Wednesday the signing of a memorandum of understanding to carry out a project in the SCZone to produce about 390,000 tons of green ammonia a year.
The memorandum was signed by the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, the Egyptian sovereign fund, the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, the new and renewable energy authority and AMEA Power of the UAE.
