Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva said on Wednesday that the international community is paying more attention to Egypt’s interest in climate issues.
Given the fact that Egypt will play host to an important climate conference or COP27 late this year, followed by UAE in 2023, she added in remarks at the World Government Summit 2022 (WGS2022).
Georgieva commended Egypt’s utmost interest in investing in modern irrigation methods, education and healthcare.
The WGS2022 organises 15 global forums, including six new ones, tasked with tackling the threats emerging from volatile financial markets and new virtual worlds as society recovers from the unprecedented disruption of the pandemic
