EgyptAir Cargo has passed European Union (EU) inspections on security procedures for handling and shipping goods and mail from Egypt to EU countries and the United Kingdom (UK).
The inspections included the company’s operations on EgyptAir planes as well as the planes of other airlines.
The EU has renewed the ACC3 and RA3 certificates for the company as a result.
Head of the Board of Directors of the company, Ahmed Shaheen, said the inspections demonstrated the company’s conformity with international standards.

Our company’s workers, he added, are committed to security measures specified in the various work sites, including in Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor.
Head of the Cargo Sector at the company, Khaled Youssef, said the renewal of accreditation for the company ensures that the procedures for handling shipments and mail are carried out by company workers in the light of the highest security and ground and air safety levels.
The same procedures are carried out in accordance with international standards, EU standards and UK standards, he added.
