CAIRO – Chief of the Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Osama Askar returned home on Saturday after participating in the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022).

Askar inspected the exhibition’s pavilions to get acquainted with the latest global systems in the field of maritime security and defense.

He also met with Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit.

The meeting tackled the latest developments at the regional and international levels, as well as issues of mutual concern.

Askar also visited the Qatar Leadership Academy, praising the scientific approach adopted to rehabilitate Qatari servicemen.
