CAF Champions League draw date announced

CAIRO – The knockout stages draw for the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will be held on April 5, 2022.

The draw will be conducted at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt live on CAF platforms on 13:00 GMT.

Already, a number of clubs have booked their place in the quarter-finals of both CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup following what has been an exciting group stage phase of the competition.

However, even for those teams who have qualified, there is still the thrilling battle for who will top the group – with the exception Group A in the Champions League.

The final stage of the Group Stages will be played on the weekend of 01-03 April 2022.

Below is the list of the teams that have qualified so far (in no particular order):

CAF Champions League: 

Mamelodi Sundowns (Group A), Raja CA, ES Setif (Both Group B), Esperance du Tunis, CR Belouizdad (both Group C), Wydad AC, Petro de Luanda (both Group D).

Confederation Cup: 

Al-Ahli Tripoli, Pyramids FC (both Group A), Orlando Pirates (Group B), Al-Masry, TP Mazembe (both Group C)
