CAIRO – The draft budget for the fiscal year 2022/2023 for the companies and military production units comes as part of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives, said State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi.

President Sisi’s directives also include expanding the volume of investments and participating in implementing the national projects in the various sectors, he added during chairing the meeting of the general assemblies to discuss the suggested general budget for the companies and units affiliated to the Ministry for the fiscal year 2022/2023.

The meetings held over two days took up performance rates of the companies in terms of revenues, production, sales, profits and losses.

On the sidelines of discussing the budget, the minister said that the Egyptian economy was resilient to the difficult conditions caused by the global Covid-19 pandemic, thanks to the measures taken by the Egyptian government since 2014.
