WASHINGTON – State Department spokesman Ned Price said Tuesday that new sanctions imposed on Russia has nothing to do with Iran’s nuclear deal.
In statements carried by the US-funded Al Hurra radio, Price said Washington will not offer any concessions to Moscow in this regard.
He added that the recent military aid to Ukraine included anti-shield and tank missiles as well as warplanes and ammunition pointing out that Washington was monitoring all foreign aid to Moscow in its war against Ukraine.
According to Price, Washington will continue efforts to punish the Houthi group in Yemen over its attacks on some countries in the region and Yemeni people.
Price added that Iran continued to pose threat to the United States and its partners in the region, saying it will work with the region’s partners including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to help them defend themselves against the Houthi attacks.
