President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has approved an annual plan proposed by the Cabinet to monitor various sectors and issues of public concern that affect citizens’ lives, ensuring continued dialogue and communication with the public, the president said in a post on his official social media accounts on Sunday.
Sisi also stressed that “citizens will remain at the centre of our attention and the primary purpose behind holding Forum 2026 annually”, adding that the aim is to translate its outcomes into practical steps and tangible results that citizens could feel.
“As part of my follow-up on the outcomes of Forum 2026, I have approved the annual plan proposed by the Cabinet to monitor various sectors and issues of public concern that affect citizens’ lives, ensuring continued dialogue and communication with them.
I have also directed the government to publish the directives issued regarding the forum’s recommendations on its official website, accompanied by a specific implementation timeline and clear performance indicators, so that both citizens and state institutions can monitor their implementation.”
In response to the aspirations voiced by young participants during the closing session, particularly the requests made by a young person with special needs and the achievements highlighted by successful “Future Makers” role models, Sisi said he had issued several directives.
The president called for expanding programmes to prepare and develop young generations at the National Training Academy, providing children and young people with opportunities through the “Shabab Masr” (Egypt’s Youth) platform, and organising meetings with officials to hear their ideas and aspirations.
He also urged highlighting outstanding, talented and high-achieving young Egyptians by showcasing their accomplishments in streets, squares and public spaces. The initiative will complement the previously approved “Innovation Nation” programme, which focuses on scientific research and gifted individuals.
In this regard, Sisi congratulated an eleven-year-old Egyptian student Mayar Othman, on winning the 2026 Arab Reading Challenge, wishing her continued progress and success.
The president directed the establishment of a sustainable and integrated national system to provide digital services and facilitate communication through artificial intelligence for deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
The system will also offer vocational training programmes and suitable employment opportunities, in addition to providing religious awareness services in sign language.
