CAIRO – The American University in Cairo (AUC) will host the UIPM Modern Pentathlon World Cup 2022 on March 20-28.
Youths and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi and president of the AUC Ahmed Dalal attended the signing ceremony of a protocol in this regard.
The protocol was signed between the AUC and the Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation.
As many as 200 players representing 35 countries will take part in the competition.
The minister lauded successful cooperation between the ministry and the university in different domains.
The AUC president expressed happiness that the university will host the championship, stressing that the university will place all potentials to render the championship a success.
