CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Nivine Gamea issued a decision banning the exportation of edible oil, freekeh, and corn for three months.
On Thursday, Gamea issued a decision banning the export of fava beans, lentils, pasta, wheat and flour for three months.
In coordination with minister of supply, the decisions came as part of the country’s efforts to meet the local market needs, especially staple commodities, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
The decision was published in the official gazette.
