Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production, Salah Suleiman Gomblat, chaired a meeting with senior officials from the Ministry of Military Production and the National Authority for Military Production to review progress on projects being implemented under the presidential ‘Decent Life’ initiative and assess implementation timelines.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Capital, was in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to accelerate the implementation of the initiative’s projects, promote comprehensive development and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
Participants reviewed completed works, implementation rates and measures aimed at enhancing performance and ensuring projects remain on track to achieve their targets.
Gomblat stressed the need to intensify efforts, strengthen co-ordination among all relevant bodies and address any obstacles that may impede implementation.
He said these measures would help expedite project completion and bring projects into operation as soon as possible, supporting the initiative’s objectives of improving living standards and enhancing public services.
The minister also reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to leveraging its manufacturing and technological capabilities to support national development projects, while strengthening co-operation with state institutions to advance comprehensive development.
Gomblat added that the ministry’s participation in the ‘Decent Life’ initiative supports domestic industry and promotes greater reliance on locally manufactured products, helping to meet local market demand and advance sustainable development.
