Israeli forces continued their artillery shelling of a number of towns and areas in southern Lebanon on Wednesday.
The artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of Shaqra and Wadi al-Salouqi, as well as the Al-Araish area located between the towns of Haris and Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil District.
In the western sector, heavy Israeli artillery fire targeted the towns of Mansouri and Majdal Zoun, coinciding with machine-gun fire directed toward the Beit al-Sayyad area.
The shelling also hit the outskirts of the towns of Haddatha and Baraachit, as Israeli escalation continued across several areas in southern Lebanon.
The shelling comes amid continued Israeli attacks on villages and towns in southern Lebanon, with strikes involving both artillery fire and machine-gun attacks, further heightening tensions in the region as developments on the ground remain closely monitored.
