Minister of State for Military Production Salah Suleiman Gomblat met with the chairman of Helwan Company for Engineering Industries (Factory 360) to review the company’s development plan, production efficiency and financial performance.
Gomblat stressed the importance of using surplus production capacity to serve the civilian sector and continuing modernization plans at military production companies.
He called for making the best use of available technological and human resources to strengthen manufacturing capabilities, increase production and improve product quality.
The meeting reviewed progress on Factory 360’s development projects, including efforts to improve production efficiency and performance.
Gomblat was briefed on completion rates and challenges facing the projects.
He stressed the need to meet deadlines, remove obstacles for workers and make optimal use of available resources.
The minister also reviewed the company’s financial performance and progress toward its financial targets.
He stressed the importance of regularly monitoring financial indicators and improving resource and asset management to support sustainable financial and production performance.
Gomblat highlighted the ministry’s focus on improving the quality of civilian products and offering goods that meet local market needs at competitive prices.
He also stressed applying modern quality standards throughout production and expanding cooperation with the private sector in developing, manufacturing and marketing civilian products.
