Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty, on Saturday reaffirmed the depth and strength of the longstanding relations between Egypt and Kuwait.
During a telephone conversation with Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Abdelatty highlighted the positive contribution of the Egyptian community in Kuwait across various sectors and its important role in supporting the country’s development.
The two ministers underscored the close ties between the two brotherly countries and their peoples.
They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and the ongoing escalation, stressing the need for coordinated efforts to contain tensions, advance de-escalation and prevent the situation from deteriorating further, given the potential implications for regional security and stability.
The ministers agreed to maintain close coordination and consultations in the coming period to support efforts aimed at easing tensions, preventing further escalation and preserving regional stability.
