President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Jared Kushner, US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, in New Alamein on Sunday.
Kushner conveyed greetings from President Trump to President Sisi, who affirmed the strategic importance of Egypt-US relations and mutual coordination across key fields.
The talks between President Sisi and Kushner focused on developments in the Middle East, as the Egyptian leader stressed the need to resolve regional crises and confront shared challenges to safeguard stability.
The meeting also addressed the Palestinian cause, underscoring the importance of all parties upholding commitments under the Gaza ceasefire agreement reached at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit in October 2025.
Kushner lauded Egypt’s pivotal role and El Sisi’s personal efforts in advancing peace and security, describing Egypt as a central partner for the United States in the region.
