Cairo International Airport continued to record notable growth in passenger and flight traffic during July 2026.
Operational statistics for the period from July 1 to 31, 2026, showed that the airport handled 2,756,663 passengers on 19,357 flights, compared with 2,654,929 passengers on 19,013 flights during the same period in 2025. This represents a 4 per cent increase in passenger numbers and a 2 per cent increase in the number of flights.
Departing passengers totalled 1,346,543 on 9,689 flights, while arriving passengers reached 1,410,120 on 9,668 flights, reflecting continued growth in air traffic and efficient airport operations.
Magdy Ishak, Chairman of Cairo Airport Company, said the results reflect the success of the airport’s development and modernisation plans, as well as ongoing coordination among all parties operating at the airport. He noted that the company continues to develop infrastructure and implement modernisation projects to strengthen Cairo International Airport’s competitiveness at both the regional and international levels.
Ishak added that the positive performance highlights the company’s efforts to improve operations, enhance the quality of services, and accommodate the growing number of passengers and flights, further supporting Cairo International Airport’s competitiveness regionally and internationally.
