Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli met on Monday with Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati, who also oversees international cooperation, to follow up on the implementation of development finance packages supporting national projects.
The prime minister stressed the government’s strong focus on international partnerships, noting their vital role in advancing comprehensive and sustainable development. He underlined the importance of close monitoring to ensure projects funded by development partners deliver their intended economic and social impact on schedule.
For his part, Minister Abdelatty expressed appreciation for Egypt’s long‑standing cooperation with international financial institutions, which has supported national priorities, economic reforms and development projects across sectors. He reviewed the current status of projects financed through international cooperation packages and grants, highlighting coordination with ministries and beneficiary agencies to overcome obstacles.
The minister confirmed that these funds are directed to key sectors to accelerate national plans and improve efficiency. He added that the ministry continues to deepen international partnerships, strengthen private sector involvement and enhance cooperation mechanisms to support Egypt’s reform programme and achieve Vision 2030.
