The United States is pressing Israel to begin a two-week ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to facilitate the implementation of a plan to disarm Hamas, Israel’s public broadcaster reported.
Israel has not yet signed an agreement that would allow an international stabilisation force to enter Gaza, the broadcaster said, according to AlQahera News.
