Egypt dispatched on Monday a five‑tonne shipment of humanitarian assistance to Venezuela following the recent twin earthquakes that caused severe human and material losses. The move was carried out under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El‑Sisi, reflecting Egypt’s consistent policy of supporting nations in times of crisis.
The aid package includes medicines and medical supplies produced by Egyptian pharmaceutical industries, aimed at strengthening Venezuela’s health sector and enabling it to respond to urgent humanitarian needs.
Egypt reaffirmed its solidarity with Venezuela, extending condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a swift recovery for the injured.
