Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty departed for Manila on Tuesday to take part in the ministerial meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
During the visit, Abdelatty is scheduled to hold talks with senior officials in the Philippine government and bilateral meetings with several foreign ministers attending the ASEAN gathering. Discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation and coordinating positions on regional and international issues of common concern.
The minister will also meet representatives of leading Philippine companies and business figures to explore opportunities for expanding economic, trade, and investment ties between Egypt and the Philippines across various sectors.
