Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam on Saturday, where he was received by Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.
The Egyptian Ambassador to Tanzania, Sherif Ismail, alongside members of the Egyptian embassy staff, also welcomed the president upon his arrival, according to a statement by presidential spokesman Ambassador Mohamed el-Shennawy.
Ambassador el-Shennawy added that the visit reflects the strong and longstanding ties between Egypt and Tanzania and underscores the continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing co-operation across areas of mutual interest.
