Asiana Airlines will officially leave the Star Alliance on December 16, 2026, at 23:59 pm Korea Standard Time.
On behalf of its member airlines, Star Alliance thanked Asiana Airlines and its employees for their contribution to delivering the high-quality customer experience the alliance is known for worldwide.
Both sides confirmed that they will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition and continued services for passengers until the airline’s official departure.
Following Asiana’s exit, 14 Star Alliance member airlines will continue operating flights to and from Incheon International Airport. Starting December 17, 2026, Star Alliance will have 25 member airlines, continuing its commitment to providing a seamless travel experience for passengers around the world.
